Privacy at Winshark Field Notes
Reading Winshark Field Notes does not require creating an account, completing a form or submitting personal information to the site. The site is designed as an informational reference, so the main interaction is ordinary page viewing and navigation between the editorial sections.
The home-page calculator runs in your browser
The wagering calculator on the home page works locally in the browser. Values entered into its sliders are used only to perform the visible calculation on that page. They are not sent by the calculator to an external service and are not stored by the calculator for later visits.
The calculation is simple and deterministic: it takes the reader-entered deposit amount and comparison wagering level, compares that level with the 45× figure used by the tool, and displays the resulting turnover difference. The tool does not create a profile, attach the values to an identity or reuse them elsewhere on the site.
Reading does not create a site account
There are no reader accounts, sign-up forms or analytics features on Winshark Field Notes. That means the editorial site itself does not ask for a name, email address, gambling-account identifier or payment information as part of normal reading.
This is separate from any data practices used by Winshark or by third-party services that a reader may visit independently. Winshark Field Notes is not the casino operator and does not process a casino account, deposit or withdrawal.
Standard hosting logs may still exist
Like ordinary websites, the hosting environment may create standard technical logs needed to deliver pages and maintain service reliability. Depending on the host, those records can include items such as an IP address, request time, requested path, browser or device information and server-response details.
Those infrastructure records are different from the calculator inputs described above. The wagering calculator itself does not transmit or store the scenario values entered by the reader.
Links move you to separate pages and services
Internal links connect the site’s own sections, including payments, games, account information and the Australian status page. When a reader independently visits another website, that destination operates under its own privacy practices.
No payment credentials, wallet seed phrases, identity documents or casino login details should be entered into Winshark Field Notes. The site has no function that needs those details.
Privacy and responsible gambling serve different purposes
Privacy describes how information is handled; responsible gambling concerns the risks associated with gambling activity. Both matter, but they solve different problems. Gambling involves risk of losing money. Australian support is available from Gambling Help Online at gamblinghelponline.org.au and 1800 858 858.
